Programming A New Code (2022 and Older)

PLEASE READ: You will have 10 seconds to complete steps 1-5.

1. Hold down the "8" button, do not release.
2. While holding down the "8" button, press and hold the "LOCK" button, then release both.
3. Type the default code "1234" (or your existing code) then press "LOCK.
4. Type in your NEW CODE, then press "LOCK"
5. Again, type in your NEW CODE & press "LOCK" - this will complete programming.
6. To ensure your new code is working, key in the new code and press the "LOCK" or "UNLOCK" button. The keypad should confirm the accepted code by actuating the
   deadbolt.

Notes:
* If you make a mistake, wait 10 seconds & start over.
* If programming is unsuccessful, press and hold the "CODE RESET" button for 10 seconds returning the code to the default code of "1234" then repeat steps above.
* QuickLock Feature™ - Hold the "LOCK" button down for 2 seconds to engage.
* Silent Feature™ - Hold number "1" button for 3-5 seconds until the lock beeps twice. Repeat to reactivate sound.
